Choosing a size

A4 and A3 suit counters, noticeboards, lifts and internal signage. A2 is the standard shop-window and A-frame size. A1 is the one people read from across a room or from a footpath, and A0 at 841 x 1189mm is a wall poster: readable at a distance and the right pick for event and cinema-style display.

Gloss or matt?

Gloss lifts colour and contrast, so photographs and bold brand colours look richer. It also reflects, which can make a poster hard to read under a downlight or in a sunny window. Matt kills reflections and is easier to read up close and at an angle, which makes it the safer choice for text-heavy posters, framed display and anywhere with strong overhead lighting.

What 220gsm means in practice

At 220gsm the stock is heavy enough to hang flat without curling or rippling, and to sit in a snap frame or poster frame without buckling. Lighter poster papers tend to wave once they absorb a little humidity, which is what makes a display look temporary.

Where posters still win

Shop windows, A-frames and snap frames, foyers and reception walls, gyms and clinics, event promotion, and anywhere a message changes often enough that a printed panel or a screen is not worth it. Pair them with a reusable snap frame such as our indoor aluminium A-frame and only the paper needs reprinting.
